How do I install the Active Computer Graphics Metafile Browser Module?
   

To help you with the installation, please print this page.

Once you have read through all of these instructions, please click on the link at the bottom of the page.

• A "file download" window will open asking what you would like to do with this file.  Select Open.
• This will launch the application and you will see a standard blue installation welcome screen.  At the first prompt, select Next.
• It will then ask where you would like to install the program.  Please leave the default location and select Next
• A window will open and ask you if you wish to open the README file.  You may select No, unless you wish to read the document. 
• A dialog box will appear, "Setup will now start Microsoft Internet Explorer to complete the installation." Click OK
• After Internet Explorer will open and a Security Warning will appear.  Select Yes to install and run the application.  
• If it asks you "Would you like the Active CGM to be your Default TIF viewer?", Select No.  
• You should now see this message on your screen "Active CGM Browser is installed".
  Close the window and return to the  Welcome page. Select "View Map" on the bottom of the page.  After accepting the disclaimer, you will be able to see the map in the map window.
